Cheryl Lescom - Vocals & Percussion
Cheryl Lescom began her professional music career in 1975, performing with several of her own bands before becoming a backing vocalist for Ronnie Hawkins and touring with Long John Baldry. During the 1980s, Cheryl was also a sought-after studio vocalist, lending her voice to numerous national advertising jingles.
Over the course of her career, Cheryl has toured and performed with some of Canada’s finest blues and roots artists, including Jeff Healey, Matt Minglewood, Dutch Mason, Downchild Blues Band, Jack de Keyzer, Mel Brown, Paul James, Lance Anderson and Billy Durst. She has also performed with the Toronto Women’s Blues Review and the Detroit Women.
Every summer, Cheryl brings her experience and passion for the blues to the Kitchener Blues Festival, where she serves as MC for the main stage. She is also a teacher at the Kitchener Youth Blues Camp, helping inspire and mentor the next generation of blues musicians.
Chuckee Zher - Vocals & Keyboards
From blues and rock to R&B and gospel, Chuckee Zehr brings a diverse musical background and a deeply personal approach to every performance. Over the years, she has performed with a wide variety of bands, theatre productions and studio projects, experiences that have helped shape her distinctive voice as both a performer and songwriter.
Whether performing in an intimate solo or duo setting or commanding the stage with a full band, Chuckee connects with her audience through passion, emotion, humour and genuine musicality. She is also an accomplished recording artist, with several original albums to her credit. Her fourth original album, Laugh Lines & Crows Feet, was released in December 2020 and received strong critical attention, including recognition from CHMR 93.5 FM as one of its recommended Canadian releases for 2021.
Chuckee is an integral member of SheWolves of London, contributing keyboards and lead vocals to the band's dynamic blend of original songs and select covers. Her expressive piano playing, powerful vocals and engaging stage presence are an essential part of the SheWolves sound and live experience.
Elana Harte - Vocals & Guitar
Elana Harte is an accomplished Canadian singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto. Born in Montreal, her versatile musical style draws from roots, folk, alternative rock, and new country. Known for her commanding vocals, expressive musicianship, and deeply personal songwriting, Harte has built a dynamic career spanning more than three decades.
As a solo artist, Harte has released four distinctive albums and earned recognition from both the International Songwriting Competition and the Great American Song Contest. A prolific collaborator, she fronts the retro-rock band Stiletto Flats, performs with the David Bowie tribute group I Will Be King, and leads the acclaimed roots ensemble The Sling Sisters, whose debut album, What I Hope to Find, was released in 2026.
Beyond performing and songwriting, Harte is an experienced independent producer and audio engineer, bringing a broad range of musical and technical expertise to every project. Her diverse body of work reflects a lifelong commitment to authentic songwriting, creative collaboration, and the enduring power of live music.
Sarah Smith - Vocals & Guitar
Sarah Smith is a fiercely talented Canadian singer/songwriter, known for her powerful and compelling stage performances and the bold humanity of her songwriting. After a quarter century of being known as a darling of, London, Ontario, and equally as the hardest working roots/rocker in Canada, Smith made some dramatic, but ultimately soul-restoring changes to her life involving a change in locale, and a shift in the way she approaches life.
After honing her craft as a member of proto-Punk band The Joys, Sarah has spent the last 15 years as a solo artist, touring relentlessly throughout Canada, while also building a growing and deeply loyal fan base in key parts of the United States and Europe. She has been honoured with over 25 Canadian Independent industry awards for her work, and has shared the stage with some of the most respected Canadian artists of all time, including Steven Page, Carole Pope, Sass Jordan, Joel Plaskett, Bif Naked, as well as International acts like Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson and KT Tunstall.
Dale Anne Brendon - Drums & Percussion
Dale Anne Brendon is a highly accomplished Canadian drummer whose career spans decades of live performance, recording, theatre and touring. In 2014, she recorded the album Heavy Blues with Canadian rock legend Randy Bachman (The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive), followed by a North American tour with Bachman in 2015.
Dale-Anne has performed on some of Canada’s most prestigious stages. In 2022 and 2024, she was the drummer for the Women’s Blues Revue at Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall. She also appeared at Massey Hall in 2022 with The Parachute Club, fronted by Lorraine Segato.
A seasoned theatre musician, Dale-Anne has held the drum chair for numerous productions at the Stratford Festival of Canada, including TOMMY (2013), Jesus Christ Superstar (2011) and Evita (2010), among others. Her recording credits include Michael Pickett’s Blues Money, which received a Juno Award nomination in 2007. Over the years, she has also performed and recorded with many of Canada’s notable blues artists, including Lance Anderson, Morgan Davis, Mike Branton, Toney Springer and Mike McDonald. Dale-Anne brings her extensive experience, musical versatility and powerful groove to every performance - and is thrilled to be part of the SheWolves of London project.
